Artist Statement
The meditative quality of working primarily with colored pencils inspires me to explore the spatial movement of color. I express original thoughts and sacred symbolism organically discovering surreal and metaphysical elements within these vibrant and intricate patterns. My intent is to give the viewer a sense of wonder and surprise. This process provides a conduit through which I am most able to access hidden memories and an ever changing desire to create.
